Our Team

As a team, CKA has raised over $20 million for our clients by helping organizations make face-to-face solicitations, approaching foundations for significant funding, and securing grants. (Grants include the Kansas Department of Commerce Community Service Tax Credits and a challenge grant from the Mabee Foundation.)

 

Chris Keeshan

Chris serves as the President of Chris Keeshan Associates, Inc., a fund-raising consulting, training and coaching company. CKA is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

EXPERIENCE
Chris has been working as a fund-raiser in
the non-profit world for over 20 years. She began her career in fund-raising with the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Topeka, Kansas in 1987 and was quickly promoted to the District Director position in St. Charles, Missouri where she continually surpassed fund-raising goals.  She later went on to serve the Multiple Sclerosis Society managing special events and interfacing with national corporations, such as Anheuser-Busch.  In 1997, she became the director of development for the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association (KTLA).  During that time, she directed and developed the KTLA’s eagles annual fund program, membership, and public relations.  

In 2000, when Chris launched her fund raising consulting business, she was retained as the campaign director for KTLA’s “Legacy of Justice” campaign. As campaign director, Keeshan directed a $1.8 million capital campaign where she successfully implemented prospect development strategies, leadership training, major gift solicitations, and stewardship activities, surpassing the $1.8 million goal by over $500,000.

EDUCATION, AWARDS & PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS
Chris earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and communication arts with an emphasis in speech and journalism from Washburn
University, Topeka, Kansas, and her Masters in corporate and industrial communication from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri.  She has been recognized by “Who’s Who” in the following books: “American Teachers,” “American Women,” “In the Media and Communications” and “Executives and Professionals.” Chris is a member of AFP and ASTD.

 

Lisa Miller

  Lisa joined Chris Keeshan Associates, Inc. in 2008.  She serves as executive assistant to Chris Keeshan and a wealth attractor TM facilitator.

EXPERIENCE      

Lisa has over twelve years of human resources experience in the health care, hospitality and telecommunications industries.  She is a trained facilitator and trainer and has owned her own business for over twelve years.

As a Human Resources Director, Lisa was responsible for all operations of the human resources department and provided leadership and strategic human resource initiatives relating to work force planning, recruitment, compensation, job classification, benefits, policy development, legal compliance, employee relations, diversity, performance, recognition and training.

Lisa has over four years experience facilitating cross-functional departmental meetings.  She has been licensed to train in the areas of Behavioral Interviewing and Achieving Extraordinary Customer Relations.

EDUCATION

Lisa is a graduate from the University of Kansas with Bachelor degrees in Personnel Administration and Communication Studies.

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Lisa currently serves on the board for the Kensington Valley Homes Association and is the Yearbook Chairperson at Cottonwood Point Elementary.  She has served on the board and lead studies at Colonial Presbyterian Church and has been a Boy Scout Leader.

 

Kaye Norris, Ph.D.

  Kaye Norris, Ph.D.  joined Chris Keeshan Associates, Inc. in January 2006 as a campaign consultant and director.

EXPERIENCE
For the last twelve years, Kaye has designed, implemented and directed research and projects funded by the Centers for Disease Control, the State of Montana, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Nathan Cummings Foundation, the Fan Fox and Leslie R. Samuels Foundations and the National Telecommunications and Information Administration of the U.S. Department of Commerce.  Kaye has played majors roles in securing funds, grant management, interdisciplinary coalition building and working as a consultant on a local and national level.   

EDUCATION
Kaye earned her Ph.D. in experimental psychology from the University of Montana, Missoula, MT and her B.A. from Washburn University, Topeka, KS.
